ADD / ADHD How Do I Know For Sure If My Child Has ADD/ADHD? Unfortunately, no simple test such as a blood test or urinanalysis exists to determine if a child has this disorder. The ADD/ADHD diagnosis is made on the basis of observable behavioral symptoms in multiple settings.
