News from Mr. Boeni’s 4^th Grade Classroom:

Math – We are learning about measurement, geometry, and

            probability.

Reading – We are continuing to read our reading anthology.

Writing – We will soon be publishing our second class book titled

            “Stories from Our Lives.”

Science – We have just begun a unit on electricity.

Social Studies – We will soon begin a unit on Pennsylvania history.

                   As part of this unit, we have scheduled the

                   following field trips:

                   Colonial Pennsylvania Plantation

Second Step – As part of our character education program, we are

                  taking the “Hands Pledge” every morning. This

                  pledge states, “I will not use my hands or my words

                  for hurting myself or others.”
