Welcome to the Computer Lab

Goals:

Increase academic excellence through the implementation of a standards-based curriculum which infuses technology into content areas.  Provide students with the information, skills, and qualities that will enable them to become technologically literate.

The students use the following software programs when they are in the computer lab:

Scholastic Keys – a suite of 3 great programs
MaxWrite for Word lets students create stories, letters, and invitations with an artistic flair.  Students can create their own Microsoft Word documents using MaxWrite's easy-to-use icons and tools, including a doodle pad.
MaxShow for PowerPoint lets students create exciting PowerPoint presentations with pictures and animations.
MaxCount for Excel gives students a fun way to learn many of the basic skills associated with using Microsoft Excel — graphing, counting, making tables, sorting, grouping, and matching. For more information go to www.tomsnyder.com.

Timeliner

Students create, illustrate, and print time lines with ease! TimeLiner presents information in a way that's easy to understand. TimeLiner helps students tackle challenging content and concepts by visually organizing information on a time line or number line.  For more information go to www.tomsnyder.com.

Kidspiration
