After-School Club

The Title I Program at Marcus Hook

    Elementary School offers an After-School Reading Club.  After-School Club offers students an extension of the school day.  Students have the opportunity to work on reading, writing, and listening skills.  Activities and centers have been carefully selected to meet the educational needs of the children.  The children enjoy games and activities designed to be fun as well as educational.

All Title I Reading students in grades 2, 3, and 4 are eligible to attend.  The club for 2nd grade meets in Mrs. Desmond's room. The club for 3rd and 4th grades meet in the computer lab.  We must have a signed permission form and dismissal instruction form before a child can attend club.

Crossing guards will be present until 3:55 for the students who can walk home.  All students must either walk home or someone will be here to pick them up.  Children who are being picked up must be picked up no later than 3:50 p.m.
